For Immediate Release Wednesday August 20 2014 Blue Candies By Charlene Kimber Ripped New York’s Runway in the Summer Night Sky Fashion Fundraiser Event for The Lupus Foundation Of America New Jersey Chapter. Presented By Alba’s Exclusive Events and Enspire Magazine. The Event was held at Contra Studios located in Manhattan on Saturday August 16 2014 at 6pm. Up and coming Fashion Designer Charlene Kimber, from Cincinnati Ohio floored the crowd with her clothing line Blue Candies. Boasting, jaw dropping comfort fit designs and bright bold colors that made her handmade unique knitwear a definite show stopper. “I wanted to bring them something different, something that they had never seen before” said Charlene that night following the show. In addition to the fundraiser the event was also a unique opportunity for talented fashion designers. The event attracted the participation of some of the most creative makeup artists, trend setting hair stylists and stunning runway models. This is a positive event for New York City, creating job opportunities for stylists, models and others involved in fashion throughout the year. Designers can showcase their collections on a modest budget and travelers to New York will have another fun activity to attend throughout the year. This show is very special to Blue Candies as it is going to make a new mark in the fashion industry where knitwear was first thought to be a blanket your Grandmother made. Common people can also afford the designer wears. Charlene Kimber said, “I am overwhelmed and honored. I am proud that I was a part of this event and I think that designer knitwear will become a trend that stays”. This affordable clothing line is sure to create a rage not only among fashionistas but also among the consumers. As well” Blue Candies will be coming out with a men’s and women’s athletic clothing line next spring.

Blue Candies has a new Logo and I must say it's mighty cute! Eye popping colors reflecting Blue Candies signature daisy found on all of our designs. Shows that it is very reflective of the Blue Candies Brand. I ended up drawing the Logo myself because it was so hard to find some one reasonable and reliable to create the Logo. But I love how it turned out and I'm glad that I did it myself. What do you all think?

Blue Candies is proud to be a new member of Alba's Glam Group Collaborative Movement. A trademark of Alba's Exclusive Events, The Glam Group Collaborative Movement is a network created to engage experiences for emerging community of fashion designers, makeup artists, photographers, models, hairstylists, salon and boutique owners and lifestyle entrepreneurs. Their mission: To continue to build a platform for community outreach, education, training, business and brand awareness and recognition. To promote the economic development by focusing on nurturing the creative class and encourage partnership with our charity to create awareness. Members receive partial travel, promotional and marketing benefits, collaborate on projects such as photo shoots, fashion and theatrical events and magazine ad campaigns, launch campaigns and other media events year round. Being a part of this movement is exciting and scary for me at the same time. My business needs the exposure but at the same time can I handle the new found popularity a PR Company can bring?
